Shutter Speed Evaluation

What is shutter speed?
Changing your shutter speed on your camera affects how long the image is exposed for. It is also one of the 3 basic ways to control the light functions on your camera. If you change your shutter speed then you will have to change your aperture and ISO settings.

How is affects your shots?
If you have a slow shutter speed it slows everything down and soaks up everything around it. This is ideal for light painting, capturing movement, turning darkness into day. If you have a fast shutter speed you stop motion, they freeze the movement that the lens is capturing

Light trail shoot
We put the camera settings on a slow shutter speed, no flash and had to get the background to be completely dark around us by using the camera settings.

Fast Shutter Speed work

Having a fast shutter speed helps capture the fast moving objects
